Upper Kern and South Fork watershed coordinator chosen

Ron Hyatt of Southlake has been appointed Watershed Coordinator for the Upper Kern and South Fork Kern River watershed areas. The three-year grant for a watershed coordinator was recently awarded by California's Department of Conservation and the California Resources Agency through Mojave Desert-Mountain RC&D (Resource Conservation and Development) Council, based in Ridgecrest.
