The National Honor Roll recognizes high school and middle school students. 'Young people such as our inductees, who work hard to attain academic success, deserve to be congratulated.' said Lynn Romeo, publisher of the National Honor Roll. National Honor Roll's College Admissions Notification service notified the admission offices of as many schools as the inductees designate that they have been accepted into the National Honor Roll.
The National Honor Roll contacts potentially qualifying students after reviewing information about thier academic performance.
Only students with a B or better average are eligible to be listed in National Honor Roll. Two-thirds of the inductees in the Spring 2007 National Honor Roll averaged an A- or better, while one-third averaged B through B+.
