KV High School to host winter formal

Kern Valley High School is offering after school tutoring. Mr. Foster will be in the KVHS library at lunch or after school Mondays and Fridays to help students in all subjects. The ASB annual Winter Formal will be held in the Fine Arts Building Saturday, January 26, 2008 8:00 to 11:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Thursday, January 10. The cost will be $15.00/single and $20.00/couple with ASB cards; $20.00/single and $25.00 couple without ASB cards. Tickets can be purchased at the Finance Office window before school, nutrition, lunch, and after school. No tickets will be sold at the door. School ID’s will be required to enter the dance. A dance contract must also be on file in the finance office prior to attending the dance.

A reminder for students:

Dress and Grooming, Students are expected to wear clothes appropriate for learning. Clothing also cannot distract other students from learning. Students should not wear shorts and skirts that reveal too much and shirts that reveal the midriff area. Shirts with spaghetti straps and backless shirts are not allowed on campus. Exposed undergarments and/or sleepwear are also forbidden. Students wearing inappropriate clothing and / or accessories to school will be asked to immediately change or remove and not to wear those articles back to school. Repeated dress code violations will be considered 'Defiance of Authority.'

Electronic devices such as I-Pod’s, cell phones, c-d players, etc. are not to be on during school hours ’Äì also be advised that bringing them on campus is at your own risk.Hoods & Sun Glasses are not to be worn inside the high school building.
