Kernville Elementary and Woodrow Wallace Elementary Schools will be holding kindergarten registration for the 2008-2009 school year beginning March 24 from 7:30 a.m. ’Äì 3:30 p.m. at both schools. Children who will be five years of age by Dec. 2, 2008, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.

A copy of your child’s birth certificate and Social Security card is required for verification. Students must also have proof that they have received the required immunizations, as well as a dental and physical examination prior to attending school in August.

Forms for the exams can be picked up in the school office at your convenience. Please keep in mind that you may register your child without the required immunizations or exams, but all must be completed prior to actual enrollment in August.

We encourage all parents to enroll students early. Early registration helps the school site determine the number of classes needed for the 2008 ’Äì 2009 school year. Please spread the word to other parents to register their kindergarten age children early.

Please call Kernville Elementary School at 376-2249 or Woodrow Wallace Elementary School at 379-2621, if you have any questions or need additional information.
