Lake Patrol Rangers and volunteers gathered at the Lake Patrol office at French Gulch Saturday morning to present Brad Armstrong with a special plaque recognizing him as a role model of dedication to the betterment of the Kern River Valley, one who seeks neither compensation nor recognition, and offers his expertise and equipment whenever called upon by Lake Patrol. Left to right: Rod Middleworth, Tom Parkin, Dick Rhodes, Marc Henry, Brad Armstrong, Ken Colbert, Dean Ott, Don Lundine, Dan Pearman, Bill Strawter, and Tony Ingram, giving the command to 'suck it in' for the photograph.
