Town Hall meeting slated for July 8

The Lake Isabella Bodfish Property Owners Association is hosting a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, July 8 at 6:00 p.m at the Senior Center in Lake Isabella. The meeting is open to ALL residents of the Kern River Valley. The purpose of the meeting is to allow opinions to be expressed on the imposition of the U.S. Forest Service’s proposed fee increases for all people who recreate at our lake and river. Peter Wiechers, of Kernville, who recently spoke at a congressional hearing about this subject, is the invited speaker. Representatives of the U.S. Forest Service have also been invited to attend.
