Linnea & Alex Galetano

This weeks trivia is going to have a few Hodge Podge questions, as they say on Jeopardy. Next week, were going to wrap up the whole Contest as well as have an article on one of our valley's own driver's. He's been an owner /driver in the Vintage Auto Racing Circuit. And is one of NASCAR's #1 fans. There's no restrictor plates on these questions, so let's get it started!

# 1 Who's the only Driver to win the Indy 500, The Daytona 500 and the Formula 1 Championship? (This is not a Dale Jarrett question, but it's one I was asked by a #1 fan who's not involved in the contest)

# 2 We all know DJ is an avid Golf fan. What is his Handicap?

# 3 In 2003, Dale was featured in a commercial with 3 other athletes. Name the athletes. (Hint: Golf, Hockey, and Basketball)

# 4 Dale Jarrett and a Hall of Fame Quarterback,(please name), are co-owners of what fantasy sports site?

#5 Jarrett signed to drive for Robert Yates Racing in 1995, piloting the #28 Texaco Ford. When Ernie Irvan returned to drive the #28 after a year-long absence due to his injury from a year before, it left Yates with a driver but one w/o a ride. Who was the Sponser that had first approached the Yates/Jarrett(Name the sponsor) racing team and eventually turned down by the duo to create a second team, the #88 with sponsorship from Quality Care & Ford Credit?

Get ready for the last round of trivia coming up in our next issue! Believe me, after the debacle at the Brickyard 400 this past weekend it will make you feel as if you were back in the day of Fireball Roberts, Ned Jarrett, Cale Yarborough, Richard Petty, Rusty Wallace, Harry Gant and all of the Allisons, David Pearson, and Benny Parsons. Ther are too many others that deserve credit and should be named,( I 'll run out of paper!) but they are always in our hearts! So keep on Racing!

If you believe you know all the answers to this week's questions email brandonm@kvsun.com and you will win a prize.
