Playing in a surprise deluge the Broncos excelled in the conditions on the dirt(now mud) field. With no visible lines on the field and numerous pond-sized puddles, The Broncos roared (swam?) to a 33-0 half-time lead behind the running of Corey Mixon and Matt Reilly and the passing of Evan Moore.
After an interception by Cody Little, the Broncos took only three plays from the 40 yard line to score on a Mixon 11 yard run.
