REPORT OF COLLISION: On 11-20-08, Michael Collins, 55, of Kernville was driving eastbound on Hwy. 178 approximately 40 mph when for unknown reasons, he allowed the right tires of his 2001 Toyota Tacoma pickup to rift off the right road edge. Collins’ vehicle struck the cement headwall for a drainage culvert and at which time he lost control. Collins’ vehicle continued out of control as it struck several large boulders. Collins’ vehicle then struck the rocky mountainside which caused his pickup to overturn back onto the roadway where it came to rest on its right side while blocking the westbound traffic lane of Hwy. 178.
SUSPICION OF DUI: On 11-20-08, Patricia Jo Pack, 48, of Bodfish was contacted as a result of her vehicle sideswiping another vehicle as she drove westbound on Hwy. 178 just west of Democrat Springs. Upon contacting Pack, she displayed the objective symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication and being under the influence of her prescribed medications. The subsequent investigations led to her arrest for driving while under the influence, vandalism and possessing a loaded, concealed firearm.

WARRANT ARREST: On 10-23-08, Bart Allen Dahl, 36 of Mt. Mesa was arrested in the 12200 block of Hwy 178, Mt. Mesa on a warrant charging him with a parole violation.
SUSPICION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 11-1-08, Christopher James Glidewell, 24, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 1900 block of Fran Court, Lake Isabella on suspicion of domestic violence.
SUSPICION OF POSSESSING ILLEGAL CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: On 11-2-08, David Brian Watkins, 39, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 5200 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., Lake Isabella on suspicion of possessing illegal controlled substances.
WARRANT ARREST: On 11-5-08, Joseph James Zawaski, 23, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 4300 block of Alta Sierra, Lake Isabella on a warrant charging him with a parole violation.
WARRANT ARREST: On 11-5-08, Lucas Delaney Muscher, 28, of Bodfish was arrested in the 7040 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., Lake Isabella on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court.
SUSPICION OF POSSESSING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: On 11-5-08, Robert Roland Urioste, 50, of Bodfish was arrested in the 1900 block of Harrington St., Bodfish on suspicion of being in possessing controlled substances and non-prescribed prescription drugs.
SUSPICION OF BEING IN POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 11-6-08, Michael Coast, 57, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 2100 block of Angler Ave., Lake Isabella on suspicion of being in possession of illegal controlled substance and syringes.
WARRANT ARREST: On 11-6-08, Amanda Renee Nix, 34, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 2500 block of Crestview Ave., Lake Isabella on warrants charging her with theft, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.
WARRANT ARREST: On 11-9-08, Dean A. Swafford, 51, of Bodfish was arrested in the 300 block of Rim Road, Bodfish on warrants charging him with failure to complete DUI school.
SUSPICION OF FAILING TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER: On 11-9-08, Ronald Leslie Twardoks, 72, of Onyx was arrested in the 4800 block of Entrada, South Lake on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender and giving false information to a peace officer.
SUSPICION OF BEING IN POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE: On 11-9-08, Jeff Dennis Rowe, 51, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 5000 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., Lake Isabella on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
SUSPICION OF POSSESSING AN ILLEGAL WEAPON: On 11-12-08, Raymond Leroy Becker, 47, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 1900 block of Harrington Ave., Bodfish on suspicion of possessing an illegal weapon and marijuana.
SUSPICION OF VIOLATING A COURT ORDER: On 11-13-08, Robert Standridge, 36, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 6400 block of Lake Isabella on suspicion of violating a court order, spousal battery and public intoxication.
SUSPICION OF SPOUSAL BATTERY: On 11-14-08, Dianna Lynn Severns, 38, of Lake Isabella was arrested in the 4600 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., Lake Isabella on suspicion of spousal battery.
