Snowy weather causes hazardous conditions for drivers

It was slow going for motorists on Wofford Heights Hill on Hwy. 155 Monday afternoon after a vehicle rollover, numerous spinouts and emergency vehicles stopped traffic for about two hours. CHP Sgt. Bob Romine reported a total of five non-injury crashes in the valley, including one at Piney Point between Lake Isabella and Mt. Mesa, a spinout in the Kern Canyon, and the scene above. At the height of the snow storm, white out conditions were reported at Call Box 3 in the canyon.
