With standing room only, hundreds of members of the community came out to support the Sweet Adelines, Sierra Sound, the Woodrow Wallace Middle School Band, the Woodrow Wallace Middle School Choir, and the Muncy family on March 19. After hearing about the recent loss of Sheryl Muncy in a tragic auto accident, the Sweet Adelines decided to hold a benefit with all donations going to the family. Those who attended the event, hosted by Randy Fieber, shared many laughs, great music, and along with some truly touching moments.

The show began with the Sweet Adelines playing a couple of their well known hits, followed by the Woodrow Wallace Middle School Band. Sierra Sound, along with Sheryl Muncy's son, Bryce Muncy, and the Woodrow Wallace Middle School Choir played fourth, with the Sweet Adelines anchoring the tail end of the show.

After the Sweet Adelines’ performance Russell Muncy had only positive words for the groups. “We have such an amazing group of loving people in the valley. Giving you prayers, wanting to do things for you, and they come out of the woodwork and it so... so amazing,” said Muncy, “The love that my family and I have felt from all of you. I really want to thank everyone.”

The event raised more than $300 to help the Muncy family.
