Betty Jo Stromer, 79, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 30, 2009 at her home with family after a short bout with cancer. She will be greatly missed and always in our hearts. Betty Jo was born in Moore, Okla. on Aug. 18, 1929 as Betty Jo Whitson. In 1949 she married Laval Gene Stromer and they lived and raised their three children in the San Fernando area, lived in Arizona for a short time, then called Lake Isabella, Calif. home. Betty is survived by her husband, Laval; and three sons, Loren and his wife Lisa of Kingman, Ariz., Wayne and his wife Val of Sunland, Calif., and Rick and his wife Donna of Merritt Island, Fla.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Correspondence can be sent to Laval at 4004 Canal Street, Lake Isabella, CA 93240
