KV Aquatics Program summer swim program begins, all ages welcome
 |
| Kern Valley Search and Rescue volunteers, like Vonnie Mathewson, at right, came to the South Fork Community Pool last year and taught young swimmers about water safety. |
|
More than 70 percent of the children in this valley under the age of 17 do not know how to swim. After two successful Fundraisers, Kern Valley Aquatics Program (KVAP) is proud to present swim lessons for all ages at the South Fork Middle School in Weldon.
Scholarships are available and based on a first come first serve and need basis.
Register for lessons online at www.kvap.org. For more information email info@kvap.org or call 760-299-2030. Open/Family Swim, Lap Swim and Sr. Aquatics do not require registration.
Kern Valley Aquatics Program (KVAP) is Not for Profit, offering swim lessons for anyone ages 0-99. Our mission is to make every child and adult in the Kern River Valley Water safe.
