Strictly Business: Alternative Energy Specialists opens for business

Published on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 11:09 AM PDT

Alternative Energy Specialists announces its official opening at 4613 Lake Isabella Blvd., the previous site of Lake Isabella Hardware. “Our plan is to continue with the traditions of the the orignial store owners, Dwayne and Sandy Kirkham, who worked hard for over 30 years to maintain their reputation of locating and selling hard to find items, RV and moblie home supplies and repair items. Also to assist local contractors, as they did,” said Tony Olito.

The business will carry solar products and transcending earth-friendly merchandise. “We hope to interest local artists to display and sell their work in our store. After we find out what artists needs are, we will try to keep these items available,” said Olito.

Some of the services offered are U-Haul rentals and moving supplies which have been brought back to the location. Propane is now available along with a variety of gases, oxy acetylene, Co2, helium, to mention a few. An assortment of welding supplies will be stocked as well. Alternative Energy Specialists can be reached at 379-1966.

The new digs of Alternative Energy Specialists, located at 4613 Lake Isabella Blvd. is the previous site of Lake Isabella Hardware.
