Kay Knight, Chairman of the Kern Valley Healthcare District Board of Directors confirmed that Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator, Tracy M. Brown left her position in an untimely manner last Friday. Three employees who worked under her also resigned at the same time. Knight stated that she was not aware of the reason why Brown, who was scheduled to finish her contract at the end of August, departed early. She added, “Tim McGlew, our new CEO was to assume responsibility for the 74 bed SNF when Ms. Brown left. As a result of his strong background in skilled nursing facility administration, he is extremely qualified to take over.”

McGlew will be making a formal statement shortly which will be posted on the Kern Valley Sun website as soon as it is released to the public.
