Campgrounds over promoted?

Published on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 10:19 PM PDT

The campgrounds may not be full but just drive up river and you will find where they all went, huge groups are spread out every where and it is all free. Why not lower the charge for camp sites and get them filled. Some don’t have a water supply good enough to have campers, get it fixed. Some good sites are never open—Why?

Those that leave a messy site should be subject to a heavy fine and/or sentenced to work where ever needed.

Our area has become a great attraction because it is so easy to get to and almost anything goes and there is a limited amount of supervision. In that number there is, as always, a certain number who have little or no respect for others and these should be banned from the area.

I don’t know how you feel but I’d like to be able to use the recreation once in a while without all the crowds and to be able to enjoy the benefits of living in this area. Maybe it has been over promoted?
