California Highway Patrol:

SUSPICION OF DUI: On 9-27-09, Leslie Leigh Wilson, 62, of Lake Isabella was observed drifting over the double yellow lines as she proceeded through a curve on northbound McCray Road, south of Dogwood Ave. The subject was then observed weaving within her lane and drifting over the white roadway edge line as she drove westbound on Hwy. 178 east of Paradise Cove. An enforcement stop was made and the subsequent investigation led to the subjects arrest for driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

SUSPICION OF DUI: On 9-27-09, Timothy Andrew Phelps, 49, of Bodfish was stopped for driving on the wrong side of the road. A DUI investigation led to the subjects arrest for DUI.

SUSPICION OF DUI: On 9-27-09, James Andrew Ramirez’s vehicle ran off the roadway at Black Gulch Rd., just north of Hwy. 178. Ramirez, 50, of Fresno was still seated in the driver seat. Upon contact there was an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the subject. A subsequent investigation led to the subject’s arrest.

REPORT OF COLLISION: On 9-24-09 at 1:15 p.m. Erin Thyne, 35 of Tujunga, Calif. was traveling southbound on Burlando Rd. at Kern River Drive when he made a sudden left turn directly in front of Forrest Lloyd, 62, of Ridgecrest, Calif., traveling northbound on Burlando Rd. The front of Lloyd’s vehicle impacted the right side of Thyne’s vehicle. Both vehicle’s came to rest within the westbound lane of Kern River Dr. The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Thyne for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Sheriff’s Department:

SUSPICION OF ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: On 9-4-2009, Jennifer Lynn Wood, 57, was arrested in the area of Caliente Creek Rd and Quiet Arrow in Caliente on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

SUSPICION OF BURGLARY: On 9-21-2009, Justin Lee Green, 27, was arrested in the 2000 block of Young Ave., in Lake Isabella on suspicion of burglary.

WARRANT ARREST: On 9-22-2009, Jay Allen Bostick, 24, was arrested in the 7400 block of Wofford Blvd. in Wofford Heights on a warrant charging him with spousal battery.

SUSPICION OF PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On 9-23-2009, John Newton Hylton, 56, was arrested in the area of Mt. Mesa Shell Station in Mt. Mesa on suspicion of public intoxication.

SUSPICION OF SPOUSAL ABUSE: On 9-23-2009, Carrie Love, 47, was arrested in the 5500 block of Piute Mt. Road in Weldon on suspicion of spousal abuse.

SUSPICION OF BEING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 9-23-2009, Johnathan Douglas Hargus, 28, was arrested in the area of Nugget and Lake Isabella, in Lake Isabella on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

SUSPICION OF MAKING TERRORIST THREATS: On 9-25-2009, Linda Lavae Estrup (51) was arrested in the 7000 block of Lake Isabella, in Lake Isabella on suspicion of terrorist threats and spousal battery.
