KCFD to hold 'Safety Day' IN KRV

The Kern County Fire Department will hold a safety day in our valley on Saturday, Oct. 17. Wildfire is always a major concern and a fast response takes training, equipment and a dedicated workforce. Please join us and learn how your Fire Department puts you and safety first!

The agenda is as follows:

10:00: Event starts

10:15: Fire units arrive on-scene and begin fire attack operations

10:30: H-408 Arrives with a crew of six from Bakersfield

10:45: Event ends

10:50: Show and tell of fire apparatus and fire safety trailer

1:00:  Event ends

The location is Nugget and Golden Spur.
