KC Animal Control Department to host public workshop

The Kern County Animal Control Department will host several public workshops and invites the public to comment on proposed revisions to the Kern County Ordinance Code relating to Animal Control Regulations.

The Lake Isabella workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, at  6:00 p.m. at the Senior Center/Kern River Valley Veterans Building, 6405 Lake Isabella Blvd.

A workshop in Bakersfield is set for Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chamber, 1st Floor, Administrative Building, 1115 Truxtun Avenue.

    " I think we would of had more response to this article after what happened in Kelso Valeey Rd, Did everyone forget the fate of a small horse and many dogs being abused, This is a community problem. Lets help the poor animals not being taken care of, especialy with being spaded and nutered.Cats are a very big problem in this area.I hope there is a good turn out for this. "
