" I find that many experiences of growing up have left good and bad memories, but mostly good. That is because I choose to remember the good. Even bad experiences can be overshadowed by good ones. I think that is because as we grow older we remember our youth sometimes in a good viewpoint and wish to revisit those good times. I sure do. Quite a few years have passed since my high school days but what I wouldn't give to relive them at this point in my life!! "

" High school (and Life) is what you make of it. KVHS may not be the greatest school on the planet but it was safe. I would have hated to go to a big city school feeling scared all the time. Anyone who says KVHS is terrible probably thinks school in general is terrible. School should be filled with wonderful memories and great oppurtunities. I DID enjoy school and I WASN'T a cheerleader or on the honor roll. I made my own good times. People should keep thier negative comments to themselves.Congrats to the king and queen. Enjoy highschool and life. "

" To "a teacher" If you really are one, I am, you know the conservative Christians infiltrated school boards across the country about 25 years or so ago. Some of their memos about lying about being Christians to get on the boards came out. 'Taint the liberals that trashed the system. It was administrations with no guts, parents who didn't give a hoot about their kids homework, and teachers who were looking for a retirement check.
If a teacher, you passed a lot of kids on who had failed your course. Thanks very little. "

" Reading the nonsensical gibberish from"A Teacher" reminds me of the various personalities of "truth". I read that post several times and what the heck does it say?

Anyway, congrats to the King and Queen! High school always comes with highs and lows, good memories and not so good. Welcome to life on planet Earth.

And "T" I knew you wouldn't stay away for long. "

" Maybe the Liberals here in this valley might take a look at how these kids feel; how can they feel any different when they are practing a mirror image of you! As someone here said; you get back what you put into it, not many kids realize at that age, what they do in high school basically sets the pace for the whole standard and morale of their lives, my advise: just don't mirror our current administration and those who live to take advantage/use others by claiming they are doing good, it is a lie! "

" As I recall in Junior High and High School, I sometimes felt my legs and feet were shackled and we were doing time for not being good kids when we were toddlers!! Ha Ha. School is not fun for many kids unless they are the chosen few who are on the cheerleading squads, in the most popular groups, and selected for the highest honors and social status. I know this from a very personal point of view because I did not fit in with any of the above. Pleasant memories now, though. "

" I'm sorry you think I'm whinning, Mac. I'm really not. I would have felt the same way no matter where I went to high school. That's why I said I don't really know how horrible KVHS is. It might be a great school. But my experience there was not great. "

" Tman and Tabbitha - it's only as bad as you make it. To some going to school in say, South Central, KV might seem like a pretty great place. To people in other countries who don't have access to schools or who aren't allowed to have an education, it might be a paradise. Spare me your First World whining and look at where you might have been instead. "

" I don't know how horrible the school is. But the whole time I was there I referred to it as a prison. Well, I right before I graduated they installed these prison type doors in the hallways and then they started painting the school prison gray! So not only did it feel like a prison but it looked like one too! LOL Glad I'm outta there! "
