A dish of revenge was served up at Famoso Raceway on Oct. 25.

The local race team of Hinkle, Nisbett and Silberman took a well deserved victory as they avenged their loss at the March Meet.

The local race team of Hinkle, Nisbett and Silberman with the rest of the crew along with the car (Nostalgia Eliminator II, NEII) at Famoso Raceway. The team placed first in the races at the Fuel and Gas Finals held on Oct. 25.

The drag racing team grabbed the top spot away from the car that knocked them out in the March Meet to end their 2009 season with the victory for Nostalgia Eliminator II (NEII).

The event, the Fuel and Gas Finals at Auto Club Famoso allowed the team to make a long awaited revival at the track.

Hinkle, Nisbett and Silberman was established in 2007. With hard work, dedication and a great love for drag racing, the group has been able to build a strong team.

The team is completed by Ken Gillispie (driver), Bob Cambell (crewman) and Ron Schnell.

The strong commitment from these men allowed the team to gain the victory.

The team will continue to race when the 2010 season begins. This however would not be possible without the support of families, friends and sponsors.

As a team, they would like to thank Underbear Racing ENT., Engle Cams, Year Round Mobile Car wash, Smith Baits, Western Auto, The Aplliance Center, Ken Christy, Roger Gates Mototrsports, Bob’s Hot Rod Repair and any one else that had a hand in helping the team grow and pull in the victory.

With such enthusiasm the team is looking forward to the racing season that lie ahead.
