Broncs cross country squad beats Desert 26-29

It was a big race on Oct. 29 for both Kern Valley and Desert.

The Broncs team won 26-29.

“The boy’s team beat Desert by two points a month ago,” said Coach Don Hazard, “And for the boy’s it was great to win again.”

Ignacio Anzaldo ran hard and came in second place with a time of 20:41 putting him one and one against Desert’s No. 1 runner.

Troy Hazard had his best race of the year and finished in third place with the time of 21:05.

Tanner Cargile came in fourth place at 21:11, while Jose Lopez finished in eighth place at 23:01.

Josh Tyrell rounded out the top five finishers for the Kern Valley scoring and finished in ninth place in a time of 24:48.

Edward Rich, after being sick for a week ran a good race and finished in 14th place at 30:51.

Rounding out the field for the Broncs was Brett Sorrells who came in 15th place with the time of 33:22.
