The Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the theme, “Sleigh Bells & Snowflakes,” for the 32nd Annual Lake Isabella Christmas Parade to be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 11:00 a.m. along Lake Isabella Blvd., in Lake Isabella.

GED exam at Cerro Coso/KRV Nov. 2 and Nov. 4
Cerro Coso College, KRV Campus will be administering the entire series of tests for the General Education Development (GED) examination on Monday Nov. 2 and Wednesday, Nov. 4. Test times for both days will be 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Examinees must be 18 years old and not enrolled in a high school. The cost of the two-day exam is $100 and must be paid prior to the test date. After this test date, GED Testing will no longer be offered at Cerro Coso until further notice. Drive-thru flu shots Nov. 4
Kern Valley Healthcare District will be holding a drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 9:00am to 2:00pm in the front parking lot of the hospital. We will be offering only the seasonal flu shot. The cost will be $10.00.
