California Highway Patrol:

SUSPICION OF TRANSPORTATION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: On 10-31-2009, the CHP dispatch received a call of an impaired driver traveling eastbound on Hwy. 178 from the canyon, driving a blue Ford Mustang convertible. The vehicle was observed traveling eastbound on Hwy. 178 just west of Borel Rd. The vehicle was weaving within its lane, and an enforcement stop was made. The driver, Robert Lee Posney, 41 of Lake Isabella was driving with a suspended drivers license. While waiting for a tow truck, a vehicle inventory was conducted and controlled substances were located. Posney and passenger, Justin Lee Green, 28 of Lake Isabella were arrested for possession and transportation of controlled substances.

SUSPICION OF DRIVING WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MARIJUANA: On 11-7-2009, Timothy Brent Adkins, 26 of Ridgecrest, Calif. was stopped for driving below the speed limit and weaving from side to side. During the traffic stop, Adkins displayed the objective symptoms of being under the influence of a drug. The subsequent investigation led to Adkins’ arrest for driving while under the influence of marijuana. REPORT OF COLLISION: On 11-3-2009, Sean Lee, 20 of Lake Isabella was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 155 west of Pala Dr. in a three axle Southern California Edison line truck. Lee lost control as he negotiated a sharp left hand curve. The truck traveled off the south shoulder overturning multiple times, coming to rest 40-50 feet below the roadway. Hwy. 155 was closed for approximately five hours to recover the vehicle. Lee was transported to Kern Medical Center with minor injuries.

SUSPICION OF VIOLATING A COURT ORDER: On 10-15-2009, Lawrence Speight, 56, was arrested in the 100 block of Marvista Dr., in Wofford Heights on suspicion of violating a court order.

SUSPICION OF ROBBERY: On 10-30-2009, Daniel Forrest Mitchener, 28, was arrested in the area of Highway 178 and Old Lake Isabella, in Lake Isabella on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, burglary, and possession of stolen property.

SUSPICION OF ROBBERY: On 10-30-2009, Jason Courtney Burrows, 28, was arrested in the area of Highway 178 and Old Lake Isabella, in Lake Isabella on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, burglary, possession of stolen property, and dissuading a witness.

SUSPICION OF ROBBERY: On 10-30-2009, Jeff Alan Plante, 29, was arrested in the area of Highway 178 and Old Lake Isabella, in Lake Isabella on suspicion of robbery, burglary, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, and parole violation.

WARRANT ARREST: On 10-31-2009, Craig William Goodnick, 60, was arrested in the 2500 block of Erskine Creek, in Lake Isabella on misdemeanor warrants.

SUSPICION OF PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On 10-31-2009, Thomas Arthur Hansen, 24, was arrested in the 5600 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., in Lake Isabella on suspicion of public intoxication and possession of marijuana.

SUSPICION OF PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On 10-31-2009, Melissa Gail Bashaw, 47, was arrested in the 4100 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., in Lake Isabella on suspicion of public intoxication and trespassing.

SUSPICION OF SPOUSAL ABUSE: On 11-1-2009, Fanchon Lee Duval, 39, was arrested in the 5000 block of Shawnee Dr., in Southlake on suspicion of spousal abuse.

SUSPICION OF SPOUSAL ABUSE:11-1-2009, Michael Sechler, 26, was arrested in the 5000 block of Shawnee Dr., in Southlake on suspicion of spousal abuse.

SUSPICION OF POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On 11-2-2009, James Calvin Harris, 54, was arrested in the 2400 block of Mason Court, in Lake Isabella on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of illegal weapon.

WARRANT ARREST: On 11-2-2009, Steven Douglas Smith, 55, was arrested in the 2400 block of Mason Court, in Lake Isabella on a warrant charging him with possession of controlled substance.

WARRANT ARREST: On 11-3-2009, Robert Anthony Smith, 43, was arrested in the 5100 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., in Lake Isabella on warrants charging him with battery, domestic violence, and failure to appear.

SUSPICION OF ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: On 11-4-2009, Melissa Gail Bashaw, 47, was arrested in the area of Entrada and Goat Ranch Road, in Southlake on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor warrants.
