California Highway Patrol:

SUSPICION OF DUI: On 01-19-10 Linda Susan Yorkey Hall, 56, of Bodfish was involved in a two vehicle non-injury collision on northbound Lake Isabella Blvd. at Elizabeth Norris Rd. Hall fled the scene without reporting the collision. An excellent description of Hall and her vhiecle was provided to CHP. A short time later Hall was observed parking in the Kern Valley Hospital ER parking lot. Hall was contacted there and the subsequent investigation led to her arrest for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, disobeying her license restrictions and probation violations.

SUSPICION OF DUI: On 01-22-10 Virgil Maxwell, 61, of Lake Isabella was riding his bicycle westbound on the private driveway of 6404 Lake Isabella Blvd. when due to his level of alcohol beverage intoxication, he failed to maintain control. Maxwell fell from the bicycle which resulted in minor injuries. The subsequent investigation led to Maxwell being arrested for riding a bicycle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

A two-vehicle traffic accident on Hwy 178 at Poplar St., near Kissack Ranch, on Friday, left at least one unidentified driver with minor injuries.

Sheriff’s Department:

WARRANT ARREST: On 1-11-2010, Michael Ramon Galanski (41) was arrested in the 1800 block of Chain Ave., in Lake Isabella on a warrant charging him with driving while under the influence.

SUSPICION OF EXHIBITING HARMFAUL MATTER TO A MINOR: On1-14-2010, Bobby Eugene Bernard (57) was arrested in the 2400 block of Harnage St., in Lake Isabella on suspicion of exhibiting harmful matter to a minor, threaten with intent to terrorize, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and willful cruelty to a child.

WARRANT ARREST: On 1-14-2010, Tay Allen Bostick (25) was arrested in the 7400 block of Wofford Blvd., in Wofford Heights on a warrant charging him with battery on a spouse.

POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON: On 1-14-2010, Michael David Wheeler (43) was arrested in the 6400 block of Park, in Lake Isabella on possession of a dangerous weapon.

SUSPICION OF BATTERY: On 1-15-2010, Jesse Gatlin Gardner (23) was arrested in the area of Lake Isabella Blvd., and Jerry St., in Lake Isabella on suspicion of battery and driving on a suspended license.

POSSESSION OF SUSPECTED CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WHILE ARMED WITH A LOADED FIREARM: On 1-15-2010, Josh Eric Eller (30) was arrested in the area of Lake Isabella Blvd. and Nugget, in Lake Isabella on possession of suspected controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, possession of suspected controlled substance, under the influence of controlled substance in possession of a firearm, loaded gun on person, and under the influence of suspected controlled substance.

WARRANT ARREST: On 1-16-2010, Eddie Joseph Witzig (27) was arrested in the 6400 block of McCray, in Mountain Mesa on a warrant charging him with hit and run resulting in injury, driving without a license, failure to yield at a stop sign, no insurance, and failure to stop at the stop sign-failure to stop at the limit line-failure to stop at the crosswalk.

WARRANT ARREST: On 1-17-2010, Stephanie Jo Walker (18) was arrested in the 30 block of Laurel St., in Wofford Heights on a warrant charging her with assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.

SUSPICION OF PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On 1-17-2010, Robert Newton Ward (63) was arrested in the area of Burlando Road and Monache Dr., in Kernville on suspicion of public intoxication.

WARRANT ARREST: On 1-19-2010, Marielynn Dawn Amos (19) was arrested in the 4000 block of Erskine Creek Road, in Lake Isabella on suspicion of public intoxication.

PAROLE HOLD: On 1-20-2010, Michael Anthony Caniano (39) was arrested in the 2900 block of Claire St., in Lake Isabella for a parole hold.

DISPOSITION OF CASE: On 12-20-2009, William John Landrigan, 44, was arrested in the area of Juniper Lane, in Lake Isabella, on suspicion of possession of controlled substance and under the influence of controlled substance. The charges were subsequently dropped and Landrigan was released from custody.
