Leo Martin Lynch was born on May 3, 1927 in Sepulveda, Calif. He was the youngest of two children born to Frances and Leo D. Lynch. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Leo entered into a new life on Jan. 22, 2010.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children Debbie Garrett of Las Vegas, Gary Lynch of Sylmar, Terri Robinson of Rosamond, Jennifer Strand of San Diego; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed fishing and shooting his guns at the range. He also loved talking to people everywhere he went and you could always find him with a smile on his face.

The family would like to thank Optimal Hospice and their staff, Nancy, Cory, Treva and Dr. Black for all their excellent care and support. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Optimal Hospice.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Sierra Valley Mortuary 5108 Lake Isabella Blvd. There will be a reception following.

" You were so right in saying that he always had a smile on his face. When I think of Leo, I think of a smile. He was always good to me and my brother when we were all neighbors on Beaver Street. He will be missed - and we will all see each other again one day in Heaven. "
