Ernest Lloyd King

A cement mason by trade and incredibly lovable person by nature, Ernest Lloyd King always had a special way of making everyone feel comfortable. He threw great parties and if he could, he would have fed the world with his creative and delicious recipes.

With his gentle nature and his common sense, Ernie always had a way of making you see the peaceful side of life. He has left this world with many fond memories and those who knew him will treasure those memories forever.

These past 10 years of missing his soul mate and the love of his life, his beloved wife “Cookie,” brought him even closer to the communities that surrounded him, and their support and love for him kept him going and wanting more. Some people knew him as The King, others as Uncle Ernie and, of course, Grandpa Ernie. He loved everything — golf, sports, westerns, motorcycles, race cars and cooking. He was a great chef and treasured the most simplest things in life. He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was a Deacon; and has served as a member of the Lost Angels Motorcycle Club, El Cariso Country Club, and was currently a member of the Early Riders Classic Car and Motorcycle Club.
