SUSPICION OF DUI: On 05-02-10 Michael J. Emerson, 50, of Wofford Heights was driving southbound on Sierra Way at Stine Cove when he allowed his 2003 Suzuki Aerio to drift off the right roadway edge as he attempted to negotiate a sweeping left curve. The vehicle transversed down the steep rocky embankment until it came to rest on it’s wheels, south of the southbound edge of Sierra Way. The subsequent investigation led to Emerson’s arrest for driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
Sheriff’s Department: No reports were received from the Sheriff’s Office this week.
