If all our warfigters are doing is "chasing goat herders" in Afghanistan, how is that so many of them return wounded or are KIA?

If you think our warfighters are in it for adventure, please visit one of our Veterans Hospitals. I doubt that losing a leg or an arm is worth any amount of "adventure". "

" The United States spends 700 billion dollars a year on defense and that money is borrowed. For every tax dollar spent 29 pennies goes to the military another 10 pennies goes to pay down the military debt. Only 2 pennies goes to education, a penny and a half to international affairs such as diplomacy, a penny to renewable energy.

In terms of job creation every billion dollars spent on the military creates 11,600 jobs yet a billion dollars spent on education creates 29,000 jobs.

We spend more on weapons and wars than any other country by far. "
