Does your child really know what it takes to raise a child? Are you concerned that they may have an unrealistic idea of what it’s like and want them to have a “first hand look”? Youth 2000 is pleased to offer the “Baby Think it Over” program to the youth of the valley. Parents can simply call the Youth 2000 office or walk in to set up a date and time for their child to “take home baby.”

This is an amazing program that has had an outstanding impact on the youth in the valley. The “Baby Think It Over” program has been offered in the local schools and after school programs for the last 10 years and has opened the eyes of many youth who want to be early parents.

The Baby Think It Over Program is designed to explore the emotional, financial and social consequences of parenting by using an infant simulator in which the youth take home and care for. Holding the infant correctly, feeding, burping, and changing diapers all have to be done by the youth for a 48 hour period.
