The days are hot in August but the evenings are pleasant. With this in mind the Lake Isabella Horseshoe Club planned our sanctioned tournaments to start at 6 p.m.
The Horseshoe Club hosted two tournaments on the weekend of August 7-8. The sponsors were both from Portland, Oregon and we thank them for their support.

Department Open
Aug. 7
Class A; First place-Zeke Renteria 3-1 (Tournament Champion). Second place-Rusty Muncy 2-1-1.
Class B; First place-Chet Rock 4-0. Second place-Jay Sellers 3-1.
Class C; First place-Rene Chapas 4-0. Second place-Joe Cadena 3-1.
Class D; First place-Joe Collins 4-0. Second-James Bell 3-1.

Class A; First place-Charles Woolery 5-1, (Tournament Champion). Second place-Terry Duthridge 3-3.
Class B; First place-Chet Rock 4-0. Second place-Doc Uehlein 2-2.
Class C; First place-Richard Gummert 4-0. Second place-Randy Chesnut 3-1.
Thursday Team Play
First place-Ken Kasha (one man team) 3-0.
Second-Terry Duthridge and Randy Chesnut 2-1.
