Bond measures are often wordy and complicated so the Kern Valley Sun wants to help make the bond measure understandable to the readers. Next week we will print the bond Measure in its entirety and we are seeking questions from the community. Those questions will be presented to the Kern Valley Healthcare District CEO Tim McGlew. Mr. McGlew has assured us that either he or CFO Chet Beedle will respond to those questions immediately and their answers will be published in the Kern Valley Sun the following week.
We will also be comparing and printing segments from the current bond to Measure M, that failed passing by a very narrow margin in 2006.
