Last week horseshoes was cancelled so that the fire crews battling the “Bull Fire” could use Tank Park. Thankfully the fire threat is over for the time.

As a group our hearts go out to those who lost their homes, and our thanks to the fire crews that worked so hard for many days.

Some of the members of the Lake Isabella Horseshoe Club were back at the park on Thursday evening for their regular team pitch.

Thursday Team Play results were as follows: First place-Lou Strauss and Richard Gummert 4-0.

Second place-Butch Hanna and Sae Windriver 3-1.
