KVYFL Golf Tournament results

On Aug. 7, the Kern Valley Youth Football League sponsored a golf tournament at the local golf course.

The team of Aron Simpson, Daron Simpson, Himi Levay and Jake Coleck came out on top as they were the top finisher. Coming in second was the foursome of, Ron Johnstone, Cody Eastes, Josh Aigner and Marvan Panzar.

The winner of the longest drive contest belonged to Angie Ary and the winner of the Dodger tickets was Cody Sandoval.

The board which consists of Steve Pendergrass (President), Scott Kissack (Vice President), Tami Harbuck (Athletic Director), Rebecca Gholson (Secretary), Angie Ary (Treasurer) and Jenifer Plante (Cheer Director) would like to extend their thanks for all who made the golf tournament a success.

The KVYFL will begin their season on Aug. 28 on their home field as they host the Kick Off Bowl. This is a chance for the teams to see their first live action against other teams. This season the youth football Broncs will be playing in the High Desert Youth Football Conference.
