Women of Mystery Feb. 11

Bowling for pets

Whiskey Flat Mayor candidate “Millinery Dolly” hits the lanes at Mt. Mesa Lanes on Saturday for the candidate’s “Bowling For Pets” fundraiser. “Millinery Dolly” was on hand with her running mate, “Mercantile Frank.” Many giveaways took place at the event, which was held to raise funds for the REVA Co-op Spay and Neuter Mobile Clinic.

AltaOne opens temporary Lake Isabella office

AltaOne Federal Credit Union announced the opening of a temporary Member Service Center in the Von’s Shopping Plaza at 5640 - A3 Lake Isabella Blvd. The temporary facility will provide full service to the Kern Valley community while repairs are made to the Lake Isabella Member Service Center, which suffered recent storm damage. This new location has the added feature of a coin counting machine for members’ convenience. At this time, the ATM at the original Lake Isabella Member Service Center will continue to be operational.
