KV Health Summit slated for Jan. 23

Supervisor Jon McQuiston is hosting a Kern River Valley Health Summit in Room 1 of the Senior Center, 6405 Lake Isabella Blvd., in Lake Isabella, Monday, Jan. 23. Two identical sessions are scheduled – one at 3:00 p.m., the other at 6:00 p.m.

Representatives from Kern County Public Health, Environmental Health, and Kern County Mental Health will be on hand to answer questions. The purpose of the forum is to gather input from our citizens regarding healthcare needs.

“We are looking for gaps in service that could be filled by Kern County Public Health nurses and our local contract providers. We want to put people in touch with those that can help,” McQuiston said.
