This past Friday night the jayvee girls squad was on their home court fired up and ready to play against the Lady Broncos of Bishop.
They controlled the game from the start and easily won by the lop-sided 51-9 score.

Head coach Sierra Hazard said, “I was so proud of the girls for playing hard throughout the whole game. They were such a good sport.”
Aubree Thompson led Kern Valley with the most points with 16. She also had eight rebounds, three steals, and one block.
McKim scored eight points, had two rebounds, six steals, while Shelby Eirich dropped in nine points, had one rebound and four steals.
“Our team played great against Bishop. Our performance makes me happy,” said McKim.
Kim Davis scored six, had one steal, while Heather Mullen scored five, two rebounds, and two steals, Noelyn Guarneros dropped in four points, and pulled down two rebounds.
Chayse Quezada scored two points, had two rebounds, and two steals, and Melissa Jensen scored one point off her free throw, she also had one steal, Olivia Urfer had two steals, and Haleigh Siratt had two steals, and four rebounds.
“Tonight’s game was definitely a challenge. Facing our rivals of Bishop was harder at home than it was away. They played hard, we worked up a sweat, the end results was sweet, we are leading 8-0 in league,” said Breanna Walker.
The Lady Broncs won the victory on Jan. 31 on the road against Cal City by the final score of 60-19.
Leading with the most points for the Broncs was Mullen with 18 points. She also had seven steals, and nine rebounds.
Davis scored 13 points, had three rebounds, four steals, while Thompson dropped in eight points, had six rebounds and three steals.
Eirich scored nine, had seven rebounds, and seven steals, McKim scored two, had five steals, Anzaldo scored four, had one rebound, Siratt scored two, had two rebounds, one steal, and one block, Walker had one block, Quezada had two steals, Urfer had one steal, and Guarneros had three steals, and two rebounds.
